Strength and Conditioning Camp - Middle School $199

CrossFit SOAR is offering two 4-week strength and conditioning programs for all competitive middle school, high school, and college athletes looking to improve their strength, conditioning, injury prevention, and overall athleticism! The program will be run by Samantha Hirsh, who holds her CF-L2, is a current college soccer coach, and a former Division 1 College Soccer player.

Middle School includes anyone entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade.

Each session will include:

  • Dynamic Warm-Up and Agility

  • Explosive Strength

  • Raw Strength

  • Conditioning

  • Mobility/Core Work

What the athletes can expect of over the 8 weeks of training consists of:
  • Introductions to all movements- we want them to be able to move WELL
  • Explosive strength work- plyometrics, olympic lifts,
  • Raw Strength work- Increasing overall strength (pushing/pulling/upper body/lower body)
  • General conditioning workouts- varied time domains (shorter, medium, long), varied movements
  • Specific agility work (change of direction, running mechanics)
  • Overall injury prevention (muscle activation, mobility work, proper movement mechanics)
